Why we exist
In 2019, our founder Mark was officiating a high-stakes varsity basketball game. His partner never showed up. Why? Because the assignment was buried in a confusing email thread from three weeks prior.
That night, we realized that while the sports world has advanced with analytics and broadcasting tech, the operational side was still stuck in the 90s. We built The Official App to bring reliability, transparency, and ease to the people who make games happen.
